Travis James McGill of Fort Washakie (1981-2014)

(Fort Washakie, Wyo.) – Travis James McGill, 33,  entered into the Spirit World on Saturday, July 12, 2014, in Tucson, Arizona.  Traditional Prayer Services will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Rocky Mountain Hall, officiated by Arlen Shoyo, Sr. A wake will be held at #2 Dead Horse Road, Darlene McGill residence.  Traditional Services will be held at the Rocky Mountain Hall at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2014.  Burial will be at the Sacajawea Cemetery with a feast and give away to follow.

Travis “Bia Guinyah Yesepeh” (Flying Eagle) McGill was born on March 26, 1981 to Darlene Weed-McGill and Maynard James McGill. He is survived by his Mother, Darlene McGill; Companion, Fawn Smith; Daughter, Ashleigh Byron McGill; Sister, Marie (Ben Jr.) Snyder; niece, Moriah; nephews, Kyle, Chad and Charles; Grandfather, Morning Starr Weed, Sr.; Best Friend Felipe “Chip” Tidzump; and Grandmother, Elsie Norah.  He is also survived by Aunts-Charlene Tillman, Flora (Richard) Burnett, Zelma Bell, Wilma (Harvey) Spoonhunter, Rose (Dean) Goggles, Elaine Weed, Leola (Vince) White, Marilyn Tillman, Sandra (Russell) Big Medicine and Lorencia Quiver; Uncles, Starr Jr. (Janet) Weed, Ernie McGill and George Leonard.  Numerous brothers and sisters (first cousins); numerous nephews and nieces also survive.

He was proceeded in death by his Father, Maynard McGill; maternal Grandmother, Lorraine Leonard-Weed; Paternal Grandparents Clarence and Evelyn (Shoyo) McGill; maternal Great-Grandmother, Ethel Tillman; grandparents-Theodore Robertson, Delores Track and Marchia Allen, Benedict and Linda (BirdingGround) Blaine, Mary and Ilene Weed, Rita McGill-Bownes, Alta McGill, Eugene Ronnie and Nadine Tillman, Ira Tillman, Kenny Tillman, Gary McGill, Wesley Leonard, Alvin Leonard, James Brawley, Kenny Osborne, Herman and Ina Weed, and Eunice Weed; Great Grandparents, Baptiste Enos and Sarah (Day) Weed, and Eustace Day, Sr.

His extended families: Day, Shoyo, Norah, Weed, Allen, McGill, Enos, Tillman, Leonard, McAdams, and Wesaw.
